Algorithm Development - Data Engineer (m/f)

The Opportunity

You will have the opportunity to be a part of the Innovation Technology team, supporting the technical development of Tire Information Systems, both for passenger car and truck applications.


As Algorithm Development - Data Engineer in the algorithm development team, you will drive the analysis of big datasets coming from connected vehicles. You will report the insights into the Tire Intelligence team and support data-driven decision making. You will collaborate closely with the model developers to support the improvement or development of new tire performance estimation algorithms. You will also have a pivotal role in the automation of the data collection process.


To join our team, you will need:


Experience and technical skills:

  • Experience in data source identification, data cleaning and preparation for analysis
  • Knowledge of data pipelines and data engineering is preferred
  • Experience in pattern and trend analysis
  • Experience in data visualization and data tools (e.g. Python, R, Tableau) and cloud platform tech (AWS)
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques is preferred
  • Experience with IoT technologies and standards is preferred
  • Knowledge of automotive / mobility industry is an asset



Master's degree in mathematics, computer science, statistics or equivalent required.



  • English is mandatory
  • French or German is an asset


Work Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience in advanced data analysis on large data sets
  • Experience working in a cross-functional global environment
