Since its inception, the group’s project portfolio continues to grow in the areas of tire intelligence, tire manufacturing, operations and tire technology.
Our diverse group works together with other digital teams to develop innovative solutions for simulating, modeling and analyzing complex processes throughout our company. The opportunity
On this position you will:
- Work with our business development teams to identify opportunities for new revenue generation in the e-mobility space by leveraging various types of company data
- Mine and analyze data by using state-of-the-art methods from company databases to support the creation of new business opportunities.
- In collaboration with other data analytics teams, identify new sources of data that are available throughout the company.
- Propose new data acquisitions. Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources.
- Develop custom data analytics tools and data visualizations
- Share and present your ideas and successes with IT professionals and business stakeholders throughout the company
- Develop an understanding of the business, technology, manufacturing processes, and Data Science-related topics such as data systems (data sources, data gathering, data storage) and business analytics (business reporting procedures and metrics).
To join our team you will need:
Education:
- M.Sc. in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics
Languages:
- You are fluent in English.
Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in advanced data analysis on large data sets
- Experience in data wrangling and predictive modeling
- Strong experience working in a cross-functional environment supporting multiple areas of the business
Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated knowledge in Applied Mathematics and Advanced Data Analytics (regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, machine learning, forecasting)
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Data science and data engineering tools (Python, Java/Scala, Spark)
- Visual analytics platforms (Tableau)
- Querying databases
- Cloud platform technology (AWS or MS Azure)
- Must be able to function independently as well as work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to communicate well with stakeholders and customers from a wide range of backgrounds
- Willingness to teach others and learn new technologies
