The opportunity:

 

IT Section leader for the Data Service and Business intelligence team, responsible for designing, developing, supervising solutions to grow our Business. Representing and leading the European team within our global context. Lead and coach the team through continuous iterations with business challenges and opportunities, supervise and enhance the prioritization processes, support the team in understanding high level, loosely specified requirements and transform Data in Value. Working with your peers and as part of the Global team you will be core in the Digital transformation process. You will oversee and facilitate the transformation supporting and guiding the team through Cultural and Technology changes. It will be critical to work at the intersection with the Advanced Analytics activities and more Traditional data warehouse, you will be responsible to secure an open and collaboration driven environment.

 

Key Missions:

Actively support our Business (internal + external stakeholders) developing active partnership and directing them toward the best technical approach.
Be an active member of the I.T. community making sure the team is strongly represented and participative in defining the strategy and executing the I.T. Vision.
Secure constant Priorities alignment for the team with business's goals, predict demand and be a strong advisor for your team.
Manage the relationship with external partners securing rightsizing and efficiency.
Establish with team realistic project plan, facilitate Proper Project Management principles application.
Mentor and train the team on new Technology, Methodologies and trends.
Be accountable for troubleshooting customers and technical issues during operations.
Be an Advocate for modern High Quality Software Engineering best practices introduction, including test driven development.
Fusion Collaboration with Data Science, Innovation and Global teams.
Accountable to secure Cyber Security and Data Protection requirements are prioritized and executed.

 

To join our team you will need:

 

Education:

Bachelor's in Computer Science or similar technical field. Master degree preferred


Languages:
English is a must

 

Experience:

Track record of Project delivery and positive collaboration with business partners and external providers.
Strong project management, organizational skills and analytical mindset. PMI certifications is considered a plus.
Team lead experience, Coaching practical experience, team first attitude.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

Self learning and self organization attitude.
Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
Teradata, IBM Cognos, Informatica toolset experience and deep knowledge is a foundational asset.
Interest and curiosity in continuous learning.
Experience in Agile and Lean methodology.
The following skills are all considered a plus:
Strong Statistical background; Experience in ML, AI and RPA development; Practical Experience in DevOps practice and automation toolsets (CI/CD) Atlassian and Hashicorp; Proved understanding of Infrastructure as a code, scripting, virtualization and orchestration concepts; Kubernetes and Hashicorp solutions expertise
Experience in a Team supporting Traditional Data Warehouse in a large enterprise, preferably with about a 2 year experience in a leading role
Experience in Big data and Advanced Analytics is a plus.
Experience in managing Virtual team and complex ecosystem of partners Onsite, near shore, off shore.
Strong Understanding of security, Data Protection and Privacy concepts especially related to GDPR.
Demonstrated knowledge of Data platform and related technologies.
