The opportunity
We are currently looking for Electrical Engineer in Embedded Software to join our team in Luxembourg. On this position you will:


  • Design, develop and/or validate Hardware and Software of tire electronics and vehicle gateways telematic systems.
  • Application of RFID/TPMS (Radio Frequency ID / Tire Pressure Monitoring System), and other sensor technologies to tires.
  • Work closely with data scientists, tire designers, manufacturing, customers, external partners as well as the hardware and software developers to innovate, develop and support complete product and service solutions. All phases of engineering from System Design to Customer Support.
  • Coordinate marketing, procurement, legal and technical team members to define, develop and manage working relationships with various external vendors and partners.
  • Select electronic components that are Custom, COTS (Commercial-Off-The-Shelf) and a combination of both that will become standalone or integrated products.


To join our team you will need: 
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Preferred Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.



  • 4-6 years of proven experience in the field of development and production of automotive qualified electronic products. Product design and fabrication of prototype electronics.
  • Experience in testing and measurement of RF electronic performance.
  • Knowledge of electronic systems design and specification.
  • IoT and automotive electronics experience preferred.
  • Analytical Modeling.
  • Programming micro-controllers to implement product functions. Definition of system requirements for electronic sensors.
  • Model Based development from Matlab Simulink to embedded code.
  • Program and project management. Leading and participating in a cross-functional support team environment, sharing knowledge and experiences with other team members in support of team responsibilities.
  • Experience in Vehicle Dynamics is a plus.


IT, Soft Skills & others:

  • Familiarity with BLE, WiFi and RF communication protocol.
  • Proficiency in software programing language: C/C++, Python, Perl in Linux and RTOS environment.
  • Proficiency in electronics hardware design and development.
  • Familiarity with CAN/J1939, OBD-II and UDS.
  • Familiarity with machine to machine protocols like MQTT.
  • Proficiency in statistical design & analysis; cause & effect analysis & risk analysis.
  • Ability to carry out assignments in a logical fashion using existing technology & standardized methods.
  • Basic organization, communication & experimentation discipline. Practical understanding of science &technology in the appropriate discipline.
  • DAQ/Interfacing of various Analog/Digital Sensors. Wireless Communication and Telemetry Principles and Systems.
