Electrical/Computer Control Engineer (m/f)

The Opportunity

We are currently looking for Electrical-Computer Engineer in Data Management. This position is responsible for supporting the development of projects with low to moderate complexity or working on complex projects in cooperation with more experienced personnel. The incumbent seeks solutions to technical problems, conducts work on assigned tasks and exhibits enough process knowledge to be able to operate in the field.


On this position you will:

  • Develop or Implement in-house developed Data Management application interfacing equipment’s controls (PLC or HMI) with manufacturing IT systems (L2 and above)
  • Deep knowledge of programming languages Java and C# including VCS (Git preferred)
  • Deep knowledge of messaging technologies like Apache Active MQ, Camel and all the eco system related to these application (Karaf, Hawtio, Splunk)
  • Good knowledge of web application development (Angular preferred, HTML5, CSS, Javascript)
  • Good Knowledge of data base (SQL, Oracle preferred PL/SQL)
  • Understand controls of equipment’s (PLC code) to read and write data
  • Understanding of Networking Technologies and implementation strategies
  • Support technology projects.
  • Direct manufacturing plant support: troubleshooting and resolution of issues, support upgrade
  • Coordinate all activities to ensure global standards are met.

Your Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Technology/Engineering/Math.
  • Preferred: Master in related engineering field.


Your Languages:

  • The candidate has a good knowledge of English. French, German and/or Luxembourgish is a key asset


Your Experience:

  • 2-3 years’ experience required.
  • Experience in working across divisions and with external organizations.
  • Experience in driving and implementing continuous improvement methodologies and tools
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change to achieve business results



Your Skills:  

  • Understanding of the Tire Manufacturing process
  • Ability to provide clear and concise technical guidance
  • Good communication skills
