Primary Purpose of the Position
As a Global Learning Development Specialist, you will coordinate all learning development activities within GPDD (Global Product Design & Development) – and help facilitate trainings within GME (Global Manufacturing Engineering). This includes:
- Working with SME’s (Subject Matter Experts) to design, build and maintain role-based learning plans.
- Working with GIT (Goodyear Institute of Technology) Dean’s to administer two 3-month courses with mid-term and final exams each Spring and Fall semester.
- Lead the New Hire onboarding program schedule, coordination and facilitation.
- Support the learning needs and competency building for the ramp-up of GTC*I (Goodyear Technology Center * India).
- Lead and support the preparation of the Luxembourg government INFPC training subsidy submission.
- Maintain schedules, tracking and delivery of content via the Learning Management System to administer, record and report on learning activity.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Single point of contact for Global Product Design & Development (GPDD) and Global Manufacturing Engineering (GME) training course and associates in all locations. Participate in the ramp-up of new Technology/Development/Innovation centers to ensure standardized learning plans, training courses and competency development. Currently GTC*I (Goodyear Technology Center * India).
- Lead and support the preparation of the annual Luxembourg government training subsidy submission INFPC (Institut National pour le développement de la Formation Professionnelle Continue). Successfully complete the required 2-week external audit of submission.
- Identify and enable learning needs in conjunction with Departmental Managers / Leaders and HR Business Partners. Build, manage and promote an annual training calendar. Maintain schedules, tracking and delivery of content via the Learning Management System to administer, record and report on learning activity. Serve as a liaison and primary communicator to instructors and learners for internal and external Training activities.
- Collaborate and interact regularly with the Global Learning & Development organization on standards, best practices, problem resolution and continuous improvements.

Education & Certifications:
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- A master’s degree is desired.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in a Learning and Development or equivalent Human Resources function within an international environment.
- Proficient working knowledge as an administrator for a Learning Management System (LMS) – WorkDay Learning will be considered a strong asset.
- Demonstrated success coordinating/facilitating small- and large-scale events for audiences of all levels within an organization.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Fluent (both speaking and writing) in English and French - Luxembourgish and/or German will be considered a strong asset.
- Flexibility to adjust to dynamic work environment.
