HR Manager, Global Technology

Location - Luxembourg

Primary Purpose of the Position

The HR Manager for Global Technology will provide strategic HR business partnership to senior level leaders within the Global Technology organization and day to day HR support up to 350-400 associates. The incumbent will lead and own key HR processes, programs and initiatives in support of the overall objectives of the assigned groups directly, while partnering with global peers to ensure consistency in service and support delivery on a global scale.

Duties and responsibilities will include partnering with business leaders and relevant HR Centers of Excellence to drive world class HR strategies and provide innovative solutions around recruiting and selection, training and development, change management, performance management, diversity & inclusion, workforce planning, talent review and succession planning, while enhancing associate engagement & culture.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • HR strategic support to global senior level leaders and managers of others within Global Technology, including leading organizational change and process management, strategic projects, enhancing leadership capabilities, associate engagement, and leading HR programs/initiatives that are aligned with the business priorities.
  • Drive talent management & talent acquisition strategies to support growth and the achievement of Global Technology's BOLD goals; Work collaboratively with the Talent Management on various initiatives and rhythm of business activities such as talent reviews and succession planning, performance management and workforce planning. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition & University Relations on recruiting and selection activities for full time hires and management of Global Technology Intern/Co-op program.
  • Oversee and drive all core HR processes, career ladder promotions process, and manage employee relations to ensure compliance to all applicable legislations and Goodyear policies. Manage the end-to-end transactional processes for assigned client groups including management of job requisitions, job descriptions, associate onboarding, and compensation planning; Partner with COEs & HR Shared Services on tactical requests as needed.

To join our team, you will need:

Education

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business or a related field.
  • A master’s degree in these subjects is desired.

Languages

  • English is required. 
  • French is desirable. 

Experience

  • 7 or more years of progressive experience in human resources.
  • Demonstrated experience learning and thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to influence and coach leaders at all levels in decision making and commitment to action while improving organizational effectiveness.
  • Global experience supporting engineering/R&D employees is preferred but not required.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Global mindset and agility to partner with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly developed business acumen.
  • Fully proficient in MS office suite.
  • Working knowledge of immigration laws and awareness of the principals involved in the global movement of employees.
  • Fully proficient in leading and managing projects across organizations/regions.
  • Highly developed skills and expertise in conducting investigations, analyzing and solving complex associate relations issues.
  • Demonstrated experience influencing and strategically solving HR related issues.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and collaboration skills.
  • Effective communication & critical thinking skills.
