Innovation Center Receptionist
Primary Purpose of the Position
- The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and employees. This role involves managing the front desk, providing administrative support, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Front Desk Management and Administrative Responsibilities
- Greet visitors, clients, and employees in a warm and professional manner.
- Schedule and manage meeting rooms, including aligning technology setups.
- Manage associate tire sell program for Innovation Center.
2. Customer management & event management support
- In addition to traditional receptionist responsibilities, providing customer support as a receptionist delivering exceptional service to clients and visitors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and logistics simultaneously.
- Professional and approachable demeanor when dealing with diverse groups.
- Prioritize tasks effectively, especially during busy event periods.
3. Communication
- Serve as a liaison between visitors and internal staff.
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
4. Coordination and Problem-Solving
- Address and resolve minor issues related to office operations or direct them to the appropriate department.
- Assist in coordinating events, guest visits, or employee onboarding as required.
To join our team you, will need:
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- An associate degree or vocational certification in general business and communications is advantageous.
Experience
- 2-5 years secretarial experience is required.
- Tire industry experience is advantageous.
Knowledge and Skills
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Outlook/Teams.
- Fluency in English must possess excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Knowledge of French/German are assets.
- Have excellent interpersonal & organizational skills & multi-tasking abilities.
