The opportunity

Currently we are looking for Technical Project Manager (TPM) - Drive Over Reader. You will be responsible for global product/technology development of all drive over reader products. This position will give you the opportunity to:

  • Be responsible for the release of new drive over reader products. Ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-performance, on-cost and on-quality.
  • Assure technology needs for future products are identified/translated into a cohesive strategy that will deliver a continuous flow of new materials, design features and processes
  • Align the organization through development of a clear/cohesive strategic intent and guaranteeing that the needed capabilities/skills are available to achieve the business deliverables.
  • Apply all Human Resource (HR) policies/procedures fairly/equitably. Coach, mentor and empower team members to become future leaders and deliver sustainable business success. 
  • Work to deliver results, while building new capabilities that will allow for future improvements in both effectiveness/efficiencies.
  • Be responsible to assure that Goodyear has the processes, capabilities and capacities needed to compete/win against competition in the race to develop industry leading products for Original Equipment (OE) and Replacement.


To join our team you will need:


Education :

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification


Languages :

  • Fluency in English and German is a must.
  • German is a strong asset, French is an asset.



  • 6 or more years of experience working in Project Management
  • 2 or more years of experience leading projects and managing others
  • Experience working for multiple functions or strategic business units (SBUs) - Desired  


IT, Soft Skills & others :

  • Willing to either relocate to Dorsten or spend 60% of time in Dorsten
  • Experience with product development/technology and innovation principles/processes
  • Strategic, operational and tactical leadership skills
  • Successful delivery of one or more programs to completion
