The opportunity:

 

We are currently looking for an Intern in our Tire Intelligence team. Come on board and join the Goodyear Innovation Center in Luxembourg for an exciting project related to the development of new technologies applied to the next generation of tire & vehicle sensors.

 

Responsibilities:

 

You will have the opportunity to be a part of the Algorithm Development team, supporting the technical development of Tire Information Systems, both for passenger cars and commercial vehicle applications. In this position, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of algorithms for next-generation tire/vehicle sensors

 

To join our team you will need:

 

Education:

The student should be pursuing a graduate degree (e.g. M.Sc., Ph.D.) in computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent. 

 

Languages:

English is a must. Any other language skills will be considered as an asset.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in sensor fusion algorithms and automotive communication protocols (e.g. CAN)
  • Experience in MATLAB Simulink/Stateflow and dSpace rapid prototyping environment
  • Interest in signal processing, sensor fusion and statistical modeling
  • Knowledge of vehicle dynamics and tire mechanics
  • Preferred experience in MS CarSim, IPG CarMaker or other vehicle dynamics modeling software
  • Experience in Big Data analysis tools and Python programming

 

You must be available for 6 months & be enrolled in university.
