The opportunity:


We are currently looking for an Intern in our Analytical Science team to participate in an exciting project related to the development of new analytical technologies for cured rubber compounds and their ingredients


The chosen candidate will improve established sample preparation techniques to enhance our understanding of complex tire materials. Besides sample preparation, the candidate will also use state-of-the-art analytical techniques to evaluate mechanistical aspects of chemical/physical interactions of materials.

To join our team you will need:



The student should be registered in one of the following studies: Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.




Good English language skills are required. Any other language skills will be considered an asset.



Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge in organic chemistry is required
  • Basic knowledge in liquid chromatography is required
  • Knowledge in analytical techniques such as, IR, UV-Vis, NMR will be considered as an asset
  • Strong practical knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint is required
  • Problem-solving methodologies
  • Knowledge in data reporting will be considered an asset
  • Out-of-the-box thinking
  • Strong communication, and presentation skills


You must be available for 6 months & be enrolled in university.
