The opportunity:
We are currently looking for interns to work within our Global Reinforcement Technology (GRT) department along with Applied Physical Metrology lab (APM*L) in our Innovation Center.
 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

You will be tasked to work on the development of new testing method(s) and procedure(s) for tire cord reinforcements (organic and/or metallic cords). You will be responsible for defining the best practices for reinforcement composite sample preparation and testing conditions, carry out testing and analysis and summarize the findings in a technical report.

To join our team you will need:

 

Education:

You must be currently following a Master degree in Metallurgy (steel), Textile engineering and/or Material Science
 

Languages:

English is a must.

German or French will be considered as an asset.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Team player, willing to learn in a dynamic environment.
  • The candidate must be willing to work in a lab environment and present good communication skills at all levels

 

You have to be available for 4-5 months (5 months preferred) & be enrolled in University.
