Internship in Data Science - Data Driven Engineering (m/f)

The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for an Intern in Data Science to join our team in Luxembourg.

We are in the process of developing a data-driven tool to support digital tire development. Using statistics-based modelling approaches we would like to extend the tool’s capability to estimate virtual tire performance. In addition to the model building, developing these model capabilities will require engagement with subject matter experts to identify performance targets, exploration of training data to identify anomalies, iteration with stakeholders to create representative features for model building, and industrialization of the finalized model. 

Responsibilities:

• Engage stakeholders 
• Perform exploratory data analysis
• Machine learning model creation
• Support model industrialization
• Creation of documentation and presentation of results

To join our team you will need:

Education:
Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Engineering (Master is preferred).

Languages:
English Required, French or German is an asset.

Skills & Qualifications:  

• Programming (Python)
• Machine learning model building (Python)
• Ability to work autonomously

You must be available for 3-6 months (preferably 6 months) & be enrolled in university.

Ideal starting date : March/April 2024 (Flexible)
