Internship in Material Science for Global Reinforcement Technology (m/f)

The Opportunity:
We are currently looking for an Intern in Material Science and/or Metallurgy for Global Reinforcement Technology team to work on the development of lab predictive test methods on reinforcement cord durability performance in tires.
The candidate will work closely with material engineers on Steel reinforcement while developing specific lab testing methods to meet our future company objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Build design of experiments in lab
  • Define the best practices for composite sample preparation and test conditions
  • Evaluation of the built prototypes
  • Perform basic data analysis and graphing using Excel or similar tools
  • Identify and plan testing requirements through engineering principles

 

To join our team you will need:
  
Education:
Current Master’s student in Metallurgy and/or Materials Science.

 

Languages:
Good English language skills are required, French and/or German is an asset.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Outlook, Pack office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Good communication skills at all levels
  • Willingness to work in a lab environment

 

You must be available for 6 months & be enrolled in university.
