Internship in Performance Science - Life Cycle Mechanics (m/f)

The Opportunity:
The goal of the internship will be to study the meridional and circumferential deflection of a multi-layer cord/rubber composite, by solving analytically the constitutive law. Those laws will lead to a set of multiple partial derivative equations of 4th order. The resolution of those equations should be implemented into a software (coded in Matlab), which will be used afterwards for tire development.
Responsibilities:
The student will be responsible of the analytical resolution of those set of equations.

Education:
Master’s degree in mechanics. Strong mathematical technical skills.
Languages:
English (Mandatory), French will be a plus.
Skills & Qualifications:
Matlab is a plus.
You must be available for 6 months & be enrolled in university.
