Internship in Sustainable Materials - Non-Pneumatic Tires (m/f)

The Opportunity
The subject of the internship is: “Map sustainable materials for Non-Pneumatic Tires”. 

The main objective of this research work is on collecting and reviewing research papers from reliable databases like Science Direct, Research Gate, Google Scholar, WBCSD, TIP, and Sustainability-Reports, as well as from tire manufacturing majors worldwide. This study is intended to track the general sustainability status and potential gaps in the sustainable move for non-pneumatic tires. The study will also include assessing the sustainability level of available thermoplastic materials (source, manufacturing, recyclability) and whether available bio-based thermoplastic elastomers can already fulfill current NPT requirement criteria (provided by Company).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish a bibliography 
  • Enhance the value of the review through a bibliometric study
  • Synthesize and document the outcome of the reviews.
  • Identify and list the gaps 
  • Outline potential next steps 

 

To join our team you will need:

 

Education:
Bachelor / Master student in Engineering or Materials Science in the 3rd, 4th or 5th year of studies.

 

Languages:
Written and spoken English.

 

Skills & Qualifications:
Microsoft Office 

 

You must be available for 4-6 months & be enrolled in university.
Ideal starting date : Flexible
