Internship in Tire Intelligence - Algorithm Development (m/f)

The Opportunity
The tire temperature is one of the most important parameters for the tire performances. However, the tire temperature changes in between the different tire layers, and it requires expensive instruments to be measured.
The goal of this project is to improve the TI algorithms thanks to this tire thermal model, with no additional instruments needed on the vehicle. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Literature review and state of art of tire thermal models
  • Build a tire temperature prediction model
  • Contribute to define required equipment and to plan test session
  • Calibrate and validate the model, analyzing the data coming from testing
  • Write documentation about the model and the testing activities

 

To join our team you will need:
  
Education:
Pursuing a Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, physics.

 

Languages:
English is a must. 

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Programming language: Matlab, Python
  • Self-motivated, accept difficult challenges, and think out of the box. Adaptability & versatility are key.
  • Enthusiastic team player, self-learning with interest in the automotive world.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

 

You must be available for 6 months & be enrolled in university.
