Goodyear Tyres have an exciting opportunity in Luxembourg for an internship within our Goodyear Intelligent Mobility Solutions – Hardware Technology – ECU Team. This internship will be a duration of 6 months, beginning in Early 2025.

You must in available for 6 months and be enrolled in university to apply for this position.

Primary Purpose of the Position

• Support proof of concept, technical studies on advanced features for our IoT based solution to connect tire, vehicle data to our Goodyear cloud.
• Evaluate self-harvesting capability of a gateway, prototype a device with different source of energy, support bench and in-vehicle testing.
• Evaluate BLE communication performances between in tire sensor and in vehicle gateway.
• Prototype devices with different BLE antennas, measure reception performances.

Responsibilities:

• Self-determined execution of the design phase.
• Cooperation with multiple department and external suppliers, run test campaign and report results to the team.

To join our team, you will need:

Education

• Bachelor's student in Electrical Engineering, embedded computer sciences, or related disciplines.
• Master’s student preferred.

Knowledge and Skills

• Solid hardware competences.
• Knowledge of IoT and automotive electronic systems.
• Knowledge of wireless protocols especially BLE.
• Embedded software programming: C language, Real time operating system.
• Python script language.

Languages:

• English is a must.
• French or German are a plus.
