Mechanical Workshop Coordinator

Primary Purpose of the Position

The Mechanical Workshop coordinator has a key role for the PPI vehicles pool:

• Coordination of the mechanical workshop areas and daily activities.
• Handle administrative tasks for Mechanics group.
• Ensure Safety of Mechanics operation.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

Mechanical workshop & vehicle repairs:

• Organize and schedule vehicles maintenance and repairs.
• Support Mechanician on the job.
• Stock inventories follow up.
• Handle offer request for vehicle spare parts.
• Arrange maintenance, upgrade and proposal for workshop equipment.

Mechanical workshop quality system and working instructions:

• Maintain quality system for vehicle maintenance.
• Maintain documentation for workshop operation.
• Review vehicle, preparation and maintenance working procedure.
• Establish and maintain list of modified vehicles.
• Regularly review OBTs, JRAs, OFIs linked to the mechanical workshop.

Mechanical workshop budget management:

• Follow up of spending PO weekly.
• Vehicle Technical control weekly follow ups.

To join our team, you will need:

Education:

• A high school diploma is required.
• An educational background in a Mechanical field is advantageous.

Experience:

• Experience in mechanical environment (car dealer, tires dealer, workshop).
• Vehicle preparation (manual & administrative tasks).
• Contact with various companies, customers focus.
• International environment

Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities:

• Team spirit / Problem solving /Autonomous & agile / PC knowledge (Excel & Word).
• Good communication skills: contact with customers.
• B driving licence mandatory. C/a assets.
• German and French mandatory. English is an asset.
