The Opportunity


Our Tire & Performance Science department is looking for a NVH engineer to support tire development projects with noise and vibration/uniformity investigations and analyses. Furthermore, the position will support initiatives for efficiency and productivity improvements in tire development process. The position reports to the chief engineer of the Tire-Vehicle Mechanics group and is located in Luxembourg.


Key missions

- Support noise and vibration/uniformity activities in consumer and commercial tire development projects.
- Provide design recommendations to meet NVH performance targets.

- Investigate problem root causes, develop appropriate countermeasures, and summarize findings in technical reports.

- Participate in development and implementation of advanced tire Lab and On-Vehicle testing, analysis, and NVH performance prediction technology.
- Support initiatives for improvement of efficiency and productivity in tire development process.
- Develop and demonstrate creativity and innovation capacity.


To join our team you will need:



Master degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferably in Automotive field.



English is mandatory. German and/or French are highly appreciated.



1st work experience in vehicle Noise and Vibration assessment using experimental and modeling methods is an asset.

Practical experience with vibration and acoustic data acquisition and analysis methods and systems such as B&K, PULSE, LMS, Head Acoustics is a plus.

High proficiency with PC and MS Office, and programming skills with general purpose software like Matlab.

•Travel domestically/internationally up to 25%.
