The opportunity:
Our Product Performance Insight department (PPI) offers an opportunity to reinforce the “Test Operations Engineering” team super-
vising the Lab & Road Tire Performance Evaluation and the Physical Lab Testing in Colmar-Berg. With this position, you will be re-
sponsible for the operational test engineering support as required to develop, maintain and further improve the Goodyear internal and 
regulatory testing performed on prototype and production tires, following Goodyear Bold Goals strategy. The opportunity will offer an 
exciting environment in connection with tire performance, testing equipment, vehicles and their instrumentation. Finally, you will be re-
sponsible for developing and sharing Product Performance Insights with PPI internal and external partners.

Responsibilities:
- Provide test engineering support to develop, maintain and further improve the Goodyear internal and regulatory testing performed on 
prototype and production tires. Support operation teams in test result interpretation and to frame testing in case of non-standard test 
environment.
- Participate in the planning of technical approach, resources, schedule and new equipment required for the testing of tire products, 
physical samples or new technologies. Design and frame the test monitoring process.
- Provide PPI assistance to GIR projects aiming to develop of new testing capabilities and/or experimental processes including 
method validation. 
- Partner with PPI internal and external customers and provide product performance insights supporting OEM's request, Homologation 
/ Labelling projects and internal investigations. 
- Drive the documentation of the test procedure/release, monitoring process and knowledge retention following our Quality standards.

To join our team you will need:
Education:
The candidate must have successfully completed Master's degree in Mechanical, Physics or Electro-Mechanical Engineering. 

Languages:
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is a must.
Fluency in German and/or French is an asset.

Experience:
Job experience or internship in the tire design, tire testing, tire manufacturing or machine design is an asset.
Demonstrated experience in project management is an asset.
