Payroll Specialist - Luxembourg

The Opportunity
The Luxembourg Payroll team is looking for a Payroll Specialist to support them with the execution of the Luxembourg payroll for 3500 salary and hourly associates,  as well as supporting on our Benefits administration. 
The role is based in Colmar-Berg; in Luxembourg.

 

The payroll specialist is responsible for the following activities: 

 

Payroll execution:

  • Running the Luxembourg payroll (3500 associates) in collaboration with our externalized vendor: instruction management, review gross to net calculations, administrative follow-ups, accounting and closing activities, maintaining payroll records, etc.… 
  • Vendor relationship management with the external supplier
  • Daily contact with associates regarding their personal enquiries (annual salary certificates, pay slips etc..) for all scopes
  • Daily contact with our HR shared services center

 

Miscellaneous:

  • Time & attendance management 
  • Benefits administration & management
  • Support to our stakeholders on payroll, reporting and compensation & benefits related questions
  • Payroll Projects (new system implementation…)
  • Familiarize yourself and keep up to speed with new legislation, taxation of salaries, benefits and other pay elements
  • Act as the expert point of contact for payroll / benefits /tax related matters to internal stakeholders

 

To join our team, you will need:

 

Education:
Bachelor’s degree with major in HR Management, Business Administration, Accounting or similar.

 

Languages:
Fluency in English and French. Luxembourgish or German is considered a real asset.

 

Experience:

  • 2+ years of progressive payroll calculation experience
  • 1+ year general administrative experience or in a similar HR function or Accounting

 

IT, soft skills & others:

  • Team player, flexible and able to adapt to changing business needs 
  • High work integrity and energetic 
  • Organized, accurate and precise
  • Strong computational & organizing skills and good time management skills
  • Good accounting & administrative skills
  • PC literacy: good mastering of Excel
