The opportunity

Our Government Compliance Team EMEA is looking for an Engineer in the area of global tire performance labeling. On this position you will:


  • Drive initiatives that ensure tire compliance regards global labeling requirements.
  • Bridge the expectations of internal customers (tire development and industrialization teams) of having robust tools for tire release and regulatory requirements.
  • Reach competitive advantage by delivering Label Grading information to OE customers at expected timeline and quality.
  • Ensure fast responses in market surveillance activities globally and therewith protecting Goodyear’s good name.
  • Support key IT development by translating regulatory requirements to internal Goodyear technical language.
  • Become the Go-to-person for specific tire labeling regulations (centralized expert) to ensure the One-Voice concept to all our customers.
  • Improving efficiency and robustness of tire release process by standardizing and simplifying the label grade assignment process wherever possible.
  • Managing the increasingly complex environment of a fast-changing regulatory environment.


To join our team you will need: 



  • The candidate should have successfully completed a master degree in automotive engineering, or any other relevant field.
  • Any further specialization toward homologation work or type approval will be considered as an asset.



  • The candidate must be fluent in English (oral and written).
  • Knowledge of one of French or German would be considered as an asset. 



  • At least 5 years of proven experience with working in international industry teams is considered as an asset.
  • Professional experience in an automotive environment is appreciated.
