Procurement Operations Manager Commercial Manufacturing & Emerging Markets

The opportunity

  • Develop & execute deployment plans for strategic procurement initiatives that have been delayed due to temporary reprioritization and/or resource capacity (due to ongoing supply chain disruptions since Feb 2020)
  • Cooper Integration for EMEA in-directs
  • Supplier segmentation for spend concentration & supplier reduction to drive additional TDC/SAG savings
  • Deployment of new tools; Fieldglass, Pcard, Ariba Guided Buying Catalogues
  • This role will also lead procurement effort to support strategic initiatives driven by the EMEA SBU
  • Significant influencer role in all directions to deliver target results without a dedicated team for the strategic procurement initiatives
  • Facilitates communication and collaboration between Local organization and the regional procurement team
  • Leads periodical reviews with engineering, maintenance and the purchasing buyers team to review process efficiency improvement, innovation
  • Manages & develops key supplier relationships in the country/cluster. Periodical reviews of SLA’s, KPI’s, innovation, standardization, on time delivery and stock optimization together with stakeholders
  • Ensures Local Buyers to understand and act according

 

To join our team, you will need:

 

Education:

  • Master's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management, or Finance is desired.  
  • MBA and 6 sigma training is a plus.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years of managerial experience, preferable in a multinational matrix organization; 
  • Experienced matrix manager, with proven track record for delivering results;
  • Experience in both Strategic- & Operations Procurement environment;
  • Experience in development & execution of Change Management programs;
  • Experience in Cross Functional, Cross regions & virtual management of teams;
  • Preferred: Experience in the field of People- and Project Management.

 

Knowledge & Skills :

Knowledge required:  Advanced negotiations, Project Management, commercial contract laws, commercial accounting practices, international business practices, risk management strategies and supply chain processes.            

Skills required:  Strong negotiations skills, financial analysis, influence management, communications, strategic thinking, team player, and ability to multi-task.
