Reliability Engineer (m/f) for our Goodyear Mercury plant, Dudelange - Luxembourg

You will have the opportunity to :

  • Lead the implementation and manage systems and procedures of the engineering and maintenance reliability functions of the facility to ensure facility equipment operates under conditions defined in the spec and drive achievement of asset efficiency targets.
  • Lead Daily Equipment Care and Reliability Excellence pillars in order to reduce/eliminate breakdowns, lengthen equipment life, implement periodic maintenance system and apply preventive and predictive maintenance tools; train and coach the team through the implementation.
  • Provide engineering expertise to develop a reliability culture, pursue permanent solutions to chronic problems and ensure the facility is in compliance with applicable audit requirements.
  • Lead reliability planning for the facility and manage engineering expense, capex and budget.


To join our team, you will need:

  • Master degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical or manufacturing technology (or equivalent). 
  • 8 to 10 years of manufacturing working experience and 3 to 5 years Plant Engineering and /or Maintenance Engineering experience


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in highly automated industry/ environment
  • Expertise of equipment and processes
  • Working capability in Lean Manufacturing, Lean Production & Plant Optimization Concepts
  • Knowledge of gear pump technology is an asset
  • Technical Competence: ability to troubleshoot / improve mechanical and electrical systems, advanced problem solving skills
  • Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
  • Strong sense of urgency, self-initiative
  • Strong leadership, project management, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and technical documentation skills.
  • English is a must; French and/or German will be considered as an asset
