The opportunity
We are currently looking for Reliability Engineer for our Lux Tire Plant to join our team in Luxembourg. On this position you will:
- Drive & lead Reliability (RE) activities in the Business Center to reduce Breakdowns and increase OEE level.
- Respond to equipment faults, diagnose breakdown problems, deal with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs.
- Execute the Preventive Maintenance process, planning, execution of activities and coordination of resources.
- Spare Parts Management & Cost Management - ensure correct stock management and availability of spare parts.
- Ensure Safety Compliance on all machines / Drive Safety culture in RE pillars.
- Execute improvement projects & Plant Optimization Roadmap Deliver on Plant KPIs: Safety, Quality, Productivity, Cost.
- Plan and coordinate annual preventive maintenance activities in collaboration with external suppliers to ensure timely execution and equipment reliability.
To join our team you will need:
Education:
The candidate should have a Master Degree (BAC +4 or +5) in Automation, Electronics or Electrical Engineering or a significant experience in a similar position.
Languages:
English and either French or German are required. Any other European language is considered a strong asset.
Experience:
- Project Management
- Plant experience
- Industrial maintenance
- Junior candidates are welcome but strong technical knowledge and understanding needs to be proven
IT Soft Skills & others:
- Technical competencies according to diploma.
- Good knowledge on automation technologies such as PLCs, networks, inverter and servo drives, HMI
- Strong fault finding and problem analysis skills.
- Proactive approach
- Continuously looking for opportunities to improve reliability of the machines.
- Leadership competences: be able to drive team and lead projects.
- Passion for the shop floor, ability to work with people in production to get projects executed and make improvements together with the teams.
