Senior Payroll Expert - BENELUX (m/f)

The Opportunity
The Luxembourgish “Payroll and benefits” team is looking for a Payroll and Compensation & Benefits specialist mainly focusing on our Belgium and Dutch payroll as well as supporting on our Compensation & Benefits administration. 
The role is based in Colmar-Berg; in Luxembourg; and 25% of the specialist’s time might be allocated to our Belgium HQ.

 

The payroll specialist is responsible for the following activities: 

 

  • Payroll execution:
    • Running the Belgian and Dutch payroll (250 associates) in collaboration with our externalized vendor: instruction management, review gross to net calculations, administrative follow-ups, accounting and closing activities, maintaining payroll records, etc.… 
    • Support and act as back for the Luxembourg payroll.
    • Daily contact with associates regarding their personal enquiries (annual salary certificates, pay slips etc..) for all scopes. 

 

  • Benefits administration (Luxembourg, Belgium, The Netherlands): 
    • Extra-legal pension management, life & disability plans, medical plan, meal vouchers etc.
    • Leasing cars: general management and development of current offer. 
    • Updating, communicating and coordinating internally. 
    • Review, develop and maintain the benefits we may offer to our associates. 

 

  • Miscellaneous:
    • Time & attendance management. 
    • Support to our stakeholders on payroll, reporting and compensation & benefits related questions. 

 

To join our team, you will need:
 

Education:
Bachelor’s degree with major in HR Management, Business Administration or Economics or any related field. 

 

Languages:
Fluency in English and Dutch and preferably French. Any additional language is an asset.

 

Experience:

  • 2+ years of progressive payroll calculation experience.
  • 1+ year general administrative experience or in a similar HR function. 
     

IT, soft skills & others:

  • Team player, flexible and able to adapt to changing business needs.  
  • High work integrity and energetic. 
  • Organized, accurate and precise. 
  • Strong computational & organizing skills and good time management skills. 
  • Good accounting & administrative skills. 
  • PC literacy: good mastering of Excel.
