About the Team

You will join the EMEA Sales Enablement team — a group of experienced professionals and trusted strategic partners to regional and local Sales Leaders. Our mission is to equip sales teams across Consumer and Commercial PBUs with the knowledge, skills, and tools they need to successfully engage buyers, drive revenue, and continuously improve their sales capabilities.

We take a consultative and programmatic approach focused on execution excellence, business impact, cross-functional collaboration, actionable insights, innovation, and a continuous growth mindset.

The Role

As the Lead Sales Competencies Enablement EMEA, you will own the design, delivery, and measurement of onboarding, sales talent development, and competency programs for Field Sales teams across EMEA. You will partner closely with local HUB Sales Leaders and Enablement teams to advance talent at every stage of the sales lifecycle, supporting a dynamic, multi-channel sales force in a highly competitive and evolving market.

This is an individual contributor role with strong cross-functional influence — you will not directly manage a team but will lead through collaboration, alignment, and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Program Design & Development

  • Collaborate with EMEA Sales Leadership and local Enablement teams to define success KPIs, program goals, and role-specific capability needs.
  • Lead internal and external partnerships to architect scalable onboarding and skills programs that accelerate time-to-productivity and improve sales execution.
  • Align content formats and deployment strategies with Digital Sales Enablement and Sales Enablement Strategy teams.
  • Maintain an annual EMEA Enablement Program Roadmap and training calendar, including coordination with third parties and alignment on delivery dates.
  • Manage translation needs for program content across key European languages.

Deployment & Execution

  • Launch, implement, and drive adoption of all Sales Competency and Onboarding programs across EMEA markets.
  • Collaborate with HUB Sales Leaders to ensure execution excellence, track progress, and apply corrective actions where needed.
  • Support HUBs in leveraging the Goodyear Performance Development Process for tracking development progress.

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Embed robust enablement KPIs to monitor program impact on key sales metrics.
  • Conduct post-program reviews with HUB Sales Leaders to capture insights, share best practices, and apply learnings for continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular reporting on program influence, adoption, and outcomes

The Qualifications You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • Solid 5 years in Sales Enablement, Sales Talent Development, or similar function in a multinational environment.
  • Proven ability on adult training (methodologies, best practices, development, delivery, and facilitation), and building learning content, curricula, and programs.
  • Experience in Change Management and Project Management. Certifications a plus.
  • Passion for sales and talent development with a proven record of delivering results.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English. German, Spanish, French, or Italian are a plus.
  • Exceptional relationship management skills with top leaders to drive strong joint alignment.
  • Effective communicator with excellent formal and informal written and presentation skills in live, recorded, in-person, and virtual settings.
  • Exposure to Sales tools and Sales Enablement platforms,
  • Independent, data-driven, goal-oriented, aligned to deliver towards and exceed defined timelines and goals through disciplined execution.
  • Able and willing to collaborate with others to overcome unexpected challenges.
  • Comfortable working with virtual teams spanning different time zones in high-paced environments with frequently changing priorities.
