Senior Specialist Transfers & Plant Balancing

We are looking for a Plant Balancing & Transfers Specialist to ensure optimal plant utilization across the EMEA Consumer network. This role focuses on balancing production plants by leveraging product flexibility and responding to demand and capacity changes. The successful candidate will drive transfers within our portfolio, manage the end-to-end transfer process, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute supply chain strategies.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Align factory warehouse demand, capability, and strategy across EMEA Consumer plants.
  • Utilize product flexibility and S&OP cycle inputs to optimize plant utilization.
  • Lead execution of plant balancing actions based on monthly reviews.
  • Review plant outlook, adjust sourcing strategies, and manage mold movements.
  • Identify and manage product transfers to enhance flexibility and mitigate supply risks.
  • Lead the end-to-end transfer process, including business case creation, PCP process execution, and coordination of key activities.
  • Drive new transfers through the Stage Gate Product Creation Process (PCP).
  • Actively participate in strategic and tactical scenario planning within the Supply Planning team.
  • Contribute to projects linked to manufacturing footprint changes, providing detailed analysis and coordination.
  • Lead multi-functional teams (Marketing, Product, R&D, QTECH, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Procurement).
  • Ensure transfer projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Present plant balancing updates and transfer progress to stakeholders.

 

To Join Our Team You Will Need:

 

  • 2-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Supply Planning, or Manufacturing Planning (preferably in automotive or similar industries).
  • Knowledge of Product Creation Process or Project Management is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to propose and communicate solutions.
  • Ability to work under time pressure while delivering results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; experience in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
