The opportunity :

As a Product Evaluation Support Technology Engineer, you will be driving the evolution of our Road & Track Testing (RTT) and LAB tire testing reporting systems. This role serves as a unique opportunity to apply your robust expertise in Java and Quarkus, C#, AngularJS and React, alongside DevOps tools such as Linux, Jenkins, Docker, and Grafana. You will be responsible for the engineering and upkeep of our sophisticated workflow management systems, ensuring not just efficient testing process coordination, but also seamless data integration across multi-regional landscapes. An intimate understanding of Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM) architecture, particularly Active MQ, will further distinguish you as you contribute to our next generation RTT reporting system, adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety in an increasingly competitive market.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and implement the Road & Track Testing and LAB tire testing reporting system.
• Manage the workflow management systems for Product Evaluation.
• Coordinate the sequencing of lab test conditions to machine and lab Tire testing results processing to databases.
• Design an evolutive and multi-site/multi-region compliant architecture for PE systems.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the next generation RTT reporting system.
• Comply with and follow up on all Quality System requirements.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment by complying with all safety requirements and instructions.
• Contribute to Continual Improvement Process (OFI) and Continuous Improvement System (CIS) activities.
• Contribute to and comply with all Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) activities.
• Coordinate software development activities related to PE systems.
• Develop, implement, and maintain test reporting applications in Product Evaluation.
• Propose equipment upgrading and procedure revisions to improve quality, efficiency, and safety.

Skills:

• IT Engineer with a strong technical background.
• Fluent in English, and knowledge of French and/or Chinese would be an advantage.
• Proficient in tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong programming skills in Java and experience with modern Java frameworks such as Quarkus.
• Familiarity with C# programming language.
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as AngularJS and React.
• Proficient in DevOps tools like Linux, Jenkins, Docker, and Grafana.
• Experience in database management, preferably Oracle, and knowledge of PostgreSQL would be a plus.
• Understanding of Message-Oriented Middleware (MOM) architecture, specifically Active MQ.
• Proficient in code versioning software, such as Git or SVN.
