The Opportunity:

Join our dynamic Product Industrialization team as a Uniformity Engineer, where you will play a key role in driving projects focused on uniformity investigations and advanced data processing. This position offers the chance to lead initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and automating processes to improve tire uniformity.

The position is located in the Tire plant in Colmar-Berg (Luxembourg).

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • MRT tire uniformity follow-up and improvement (Runout, Balance) through proactive/reactive systems.
  • Conduct capability studies and implement corrective actions to reduce process variability.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis utilizing data mining techniques.
  • Lead Lean projects aimed at enhancing tire quality.

To join our team, you will need:

 

Education:

Master's degree in Mechanical or Process engineering, or equivalent.

 

Languages:

  • Excellent proficiency in English and French (spoken and written).
  • A good level of Luxembourgish or German are assets.

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • High proficiency with MS Office, and programming skills with general purpose software like Matlab, Python, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis tools like Minitab, JASP, or others is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is an asset.
  • Demonstrated creativity and innovation capacity, along with excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work effectively in an international collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a challenging and dynamic plant environment.
