The primary scope of a Senior Engineer - Consumer Tire Uniformity is to fulfill and even exceed car manufacturers expectations for our products, by providing a safe and comfortable drive on our tires for all types of passenger vehicles, road types, speeds and loads. The work includes data analysis with dedicated tools to identify opportunities which then are addressed with relevant actions. The success is also determined by strong cross functional cooperation with various regional teams and Goodyear plants in Europe.
The opportunity:
We are looking for a Senior Engineer – Consumer Tire Uniformity to join our team. In this position you will:
- Manage all Uniformity related activities in EMEA assigned as Regional Point of contact for selected plants.
- Guarantee proper definition/clarification and implementation of uniformity requirements.
- Leverage statistical and data analysis to identify key actions to improve quality of the product and yield. Coordinate with plants to implement key projects and corrective actions.
- Leverage Tire Technology and Manufacturing Process knowledge for continuous improvement.
- Liaise with New Product Industrialization, Tire Technology, and Manufacturing for new tire introductions and design changes.
- Train and technically support manufacturing plants to ensure Uniformity knowledge and Performance to Uniformity Targets.

Education:
Engineering Bachelor’s degree required; Masters desired.
Languages:
Fluent in English; any other language considered as an asset.
Experience:
- Experience in quality, manufacturing or product design.
- Experience in process or product improvement projects.
Skills & Qualifications:
