About the Position :
• Assure the manufacturing process within specified Business Center meets objectives related to safety, quality, cost and delivery.  Develop and drive strategies that align with objectives. Drive the Business Center Operation to scorecard attainment.
• Create culture of continuous improvement to promote lean and efficient process. Lead CI initiatives within the Business Center with a sense of urgency.
• Review and evaluate Business Center budget requirements for capital expenditures, labor, production/operations, etc.  Assure budget objectives are met.
• Drive initiatives that promote the continuous development of associates. Develop Workforce Planning to ensure ongoing succession planning within the Business Center

Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead performance and set objectives of the Business Center Staff to ensure safety, quality, production, and delivery goals are not being met.
• Create environment promoting the growth and development of Business Center Staff by assuring ongoing training, development and compliance.
• Provide development and coaching of Area Managers within Business Center.
• Monitor and control costs related to the plant including labor, materials and equipment.
• Create and implement long-term vision strategies for the operations that support plant and corporate objectives.

Required Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or technical field.
• 4 year degree in technical discipline or MBA.
• 5 years' experience in management role within manufacturing environment.
• Experience in driving strategy with day-to-day operations to team.
• Management experience in a union environment (as applicable).
