Talent acquisition / HR Generalist

 

Primary purpose of the position:
 

  • Lead searches for non-executive positions
  • Act as Single Point of Contact between HRBP’s, C&B, TM to deliver an HR service in line with the needs and priorities of the business along different functions for Diegem based employees.
  • Oversee the implementation and delivery of key HR initiatives as the key interface between professional HR and the business.
  • Work at an operational level with multiple stakeholders
  • Drive HR process excellence and improvement to “One Goodyear Way”

 

Principle duties and responsibilities

 

Talent Acquisition (Diegem + Kontich)

  • This position will act as recruiter for non-executive positions for the Diegem regional Head Office and the sales company in Kontich and work closely with hiring managers and HRBP’s. 
  • Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers and HRBP’s with hiring and employment data
  • Use and manage online recruitment tools
  • Participate in employment events, such as career fairs
  • Manage relationships with third party recruitment agencies and staffing firms and manage the procurement and measurement process.
  • Ensure intern pipeline as per the business needs

 

HR Processes (Diegem)

 

  • Proactively support the delivery of HR Processes for the Functions (Finance, Communication, Legal, IT).
  • Support the execution of the C&B processes (Merit, PRP/RPRP) and streamline approach ensuring same standardized approach is applied across all Functions.
  • Support the execution of the Talent Management processes (PMP, Org & Talent, calibrations) for the and streamline approach over all functions acting as a Single Point of Contact between HRBP’s and TM team.
  • Prepare employment offers, contracts, change of positions & compensation letters, dismissal letters and settlement agreements for local resident associates of non-executive positions

     

Profile

  • You have a university degree in business, HR or a related field
  • You have at least 3 to 5 years of proven professional experience in HR, ideally in an international and multicultural environment
  • You have a good knowledge of the Belgian Labor Law
  • You are able to get results through influence
  • You have excellent communication skills, in Dutch, English and French
