Senior Human Resources Manager

Onsite - El Salto, Jalisco

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Properly plan and staff the organization for the execution of the business plan.
Implement development plans as to retain best talent and promote engagement and delivery of results.
Compliance with country labor laws and with company policies and business conduct standards.
Drive Labor relations and the development of Labor Agreements with unions, negotiation teams and authorities, as to allow a sustainable and competitive operation.
Orchestrate the HR functions as to develop an engaged work force to support the competitive and sustainable operation of the organization. Promote Operation Excellence culture as well as Team work environment in the organization.
This position has the responsibility to ensure the establishment of the quality policy and the Quality Management Systems with the respective integration of the business requirements. Likewise, they must help, communicate and support all the activities that are carried out to contribute to the effectiveness of the quality Management System; promoting the approach to processes and thinking based on risks to achieve the expected results and continuous improvement.


Education

Required: Bachelor’s degree in administration, Human Resources, Engineering or Psychology. Spanish and fluent and advanced command of English.
Desired: Post graduate or master’s in human resources. Business Analysis and KPI's in Business and HR.


Experience

Minimum of 10 years generalist experience in Human Resources and Talent Management. in a Global Company (500+ associates) preferred
7-10 years Managerial Experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment.
5+ years in a Continuous Improvement / ISO / Lean production environment or equivalent experience preferred
7-10 years’ experience managing a union environment and leading union negotiations.
Proven track record of increasing scope and responsibility in leadership roles.
Demonstrated, measurable improvements in labor relations, staffing, people development, talent management training and compensations.
Desired: Experience in tire or automative manufacturing environment.


Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of Federal Labor Law, Social Security Law and all Labor regulations. Desired knowledge in Law Contracts.
Demonstrated ability to work in high performance and servant leader cultures.
Demonstrated ability to build talent within plant and teams.
Strong organizational and planning abilities.
Strong leadership skills and strategic thinking.
Strong businesspeople focus mindset.
Strong communication & presentation skills to convince, negotiate and handle matters at different levels.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Excellent coaching and mentoring skills
