About the Position
The Manager Sales Operations will champion the development/execution of pricing strategies and trade spend, driving decisions that maximize volume and return on investment (ROI) while maintaining the Goodyear brand's competitive position. The incumbent will evaluate the effectiveness of programs post-implementation, adjusting strategies to meet evolving market conditions. The associate will monitor market pricing and recommend pricing changes necessary to ensure competitive pricing to our customers (including Canadian pricing for new products). The position will lead the sales operations functions of the business by developing processes and policies that enable the organization to achieve its targets. The role will develop, administer, and guide the go-to-market strategies for Indirect Retailer program, targeting market penetration and volume growth.
The incumbent will enable insightful market understanding and facilitate data-driven decision-making across sales channels through the creation of advanced analytic tools/comprehensive business reporting (including sales incentive program, tracking, market evaluation tools, inventory and sales monitoring, and ad hoc reports).
This position is based on-site at our Toronto corporate office, located at 450 Kipling Avenue, ON.

- Collaborate with the Consumer and Commercial business leaders to drive profitable growth through advanced business analytics and market intelligence. Use data to problem solve and diagnose root causes of business challenges that support action planning in order to move the business forward. Serve as an objective voice based on facts and data.
- Drive efficiencies/accountability of sales operations and analysis functions, while providing exceptional service level to internal and external customers. Ensure data integrity that is collected from outside sources.
- Provide the Consumer and Commercial sales organizations with data/information to win in their markets. Leverage external and internal data to prepare analysis at an aggregate level, channel level, or individual customer level to respond to the needs of the business. Develop, enhance, and oversee administration of Indirect Dealer Sales programs.
- Drive key projects for the Consumer and Commercial businesses, including systems implementations and modernizations required to facilitate ease of doing business with Goodyear. Identify opportunities for automation/efficiency to master complexity in business processes and reporting.
- Lead a team of experienced Analysts, providing individual coaching to build technical, analytical, and leadership competencies. Ensure that the Sales Analytics and Business Intelligence team is highly collaborative with business stakeholders. Share best practices across the team and leverage new/existing technologies to continuously improve analytics/insights that guide business decisions.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field. Master’s Degree desired.
- 5-7 years of experience leading a high functioning team, including 3-5 years of experience as a high functioning Analyst.
- Experience in collaborating with the business to provide creative solutions in a diverse working environment while providing exceptional service levels.
