Assistant Manager-Quality Assurance

  1. Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the internal process audits at all Manufacturing sections against the Technical Specification / Standards and QAI.
  • Testing lab – DOT lab and Farm tire test track facility – Test planning, resource management and report generation
  • OE related quality condition return tire-RC analysis-corrective action.
  • Ensure & coordinate product qualification testing in the Tire Testing Laboratory for New Tires and regular tires as per Goodyear QAI.
  • Highlighting day to day process violations and quality issues to Manufacturing and Technical for necessary corrective actions.
  • Preparation of Monthly Quality Indicators report for the plant as per QAI
  • Inspect field return tires and analysis of the same
  • Ensure all the Documents and Records of QAI, PPQ, QMS and OE Customer Specific Requirements are met and maintained audits/Visit, PPAP, necessary documentation.
  • TS documentation, internal audit. Corrective action effectiveness drive
  • Customer condition tire analysis in CFT, corrective action
  • Follow up on implantation of counter measure
