Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the Electrical, Electronics, and Instrumentation functions of the plant, ensuring uninterrupted operations, compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and continuous improvement in system reliability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance & Reliability:
  • Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, control systems, and instrumentation.
  • Ensure minimal downtime and quick resolution of electrical and instrumentation issues.
• Project Management:
  • Lead installation, commissioning, and upgradation of electrical and instrumentation systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for timely project execution.
• Compliance & Safety:
  • Ensure adherence to statutory and safety regulations (e.g., IEC, NEC, OSHA).
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments of electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Energy Management:
  • Monitor and optimize energy consumption across the plant.
  • Implement energy-saving initiatives and technologies.
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead and develop a team of engineers and technicians.
  • Conduct training and skill development programs.
• Automation & Control Systems:
  • Manage PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and other automation systems.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize control systems for process efficiency.
• Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain records of maintenance, calibration, and compliance.
  • Generate reports for management review and continuous improvement.
