About the Position:
Execute daily Plant Optimization activities and ensure follow-up where required to support a successful and sustainable implementation of Plant Optimization in the plant through leadership and faciliation of Continuous Skills Development Pillar implementation. Drive "People & Environmental Care" as a value and help to build a culture of "Zero Loss" while ensuring "One Goodyear Way" through continuous skills development. Serve as a Change Agent by driving process discipline, quality focus, transparency and accountability. Provide clear, concise and direct feedback to Plant Optimization Staff, Business Center Staff and Training Manager on successes and challenges during implementations.
Responsibilities:

Provide support to the Business Center Team & Plant Optimization Leader on pillar teams activities.

Help, guide & coordinate the continuous skills development pillar team members on various activities.

Manages pillar documentation (meeting agenda, notes, action items, etc.) and change management process.

Coordinate and help manage the document control process for standard operating procedures and work instructions.

Ensure documents are reviewed, updated, and approved on schedule in accordance with continuous skills development requirements.

Support Daily Management System execution.

Coordinate & conduct training related to plant optimization when required.

Evaluate skills attained in training, conduct post-training follow-up, and develop metrics that measure the impact of continuious skills development.

Verify training relates to organizational development requirements and identify performance gaps.

Analyze target audiences to recommend appropriate learning solutions.

Conduct self-audit (layered audits) and report results to management.

Identify pitfalls/roadblocks to continuous skills development pillar success.

Identifies and prioritizes (with Business Center Management) continuous skills development objectives and relevant Subject Matter Experts (SME) in support of business needs.

Onboard new pillar team members.

Capture and communicate lessons learned.

Education and Experience:
-
Bachelors degree required
-
3 or more years of working experience in a Manufacturing environment required.

Experience in using various problem solving tools & helping with continuous improvement projects.
-
Understanding of the Goodyear Plant Optimization Process, or other continuous improvement methodologies
-
Experience in Continuous Skills Development Pillar preferred, other exerience in learning process development

Experience with documentation management (e.g., quality, environmental, regulatory, ISO)

Faciliation and team building experience preferred
