Sales Expert – Proactive Solutions

 

The incumbent will be based in the UK.

(This is a national role and home-based, requiring travel throughout the UK).

 

Purpose and scope of the job (Objectives)

 

  • Responsible for selling portfolio of Goodyear Proactive Solutions to customers in a given geography through different channels to reach the end customer.
  • Contracts new customers and upsells existing Goodyear Proactive Solutions customers.
  • Identifies and executes sales opportunities with non-Goodyear customers.
  • Acts as a consultant to fleet operators identifying their specific needs and requirements.
  • Closely collaborates with country sales organization (lead generation, distribution master plan, joint sales activities).
  • Shows awareness of local competitive environment and mounts local commercial initiatives to counter where applicable.  

 

Job Profile (Experience and Skills)

 

  • Progressive experience in different sales roles.
  • Experience in selling service as a solution (preferred, but not essential).
  • Knowledge of key account management and business development
  • Understanding of automotive industry (preferably commercial business).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Able to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business (preferred, but not essential).
  • Fluent in English (any other European language an asset).
