A Day in the Life Video

Base Pay: $21.00 an hour. Night crew would get an additional $0.55 cent shift differential.

This is a non-production position.

$1,000 sign on bonus. $250 will be paid to eligible employees after the completion of their first week of employment. The remaining $750 will be paid to eligible employees after the completion of 90 days of employment. Candidate must be a new employee and not a rehire to be eligible.

The General Laborer Associates perform a variety of work as directed to maintain efficient production throughout the department. The ideal candidate will operate equipment, powered industrial vehicles and utilize tools in certain processes to aid in the manufacturing of tires. Use basic arithmetic to track/record specific information. Maintain clean work area through good housekeeping throughout shift. Perform operations necessary to keep equipment working efficiently and to obtain quality production. Adhere to all safety guidelines and perform operations in the safest manner possible as directed by supervision.  Lifting / carrying components of different weights and frequencies throughout shift.

• Punctuality and attendance are extremely important to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere. Dependable job attendance is expected.

Shift Information: 8-hr shifts

New hires would likely be placed onto 1^st shift, working 6:00am – 2:00pm or 3^rd shift, working 10:00pm – 6:00am.  We have one opening on 1^st and one opening on 3^rd.

Work Environment: Findlay, Ohio Plant

• The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the factory.
• The environmental conditions can be hot, cold, and noisy.
• Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing, and steel-toed shoes.

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future
