Global SAP Process Architect (all genders welcome)

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Global IT SAP team. You will be responsible for analyzing business and technical needs and translating process into practice through the current Information Technology tool sets. Further, you will also implement new solutions through configuration and creation of functional specifications and facilitate solution realization. In addition, you will have responsibilities for conducting testing and troubleshooting solutions.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business and functional requirements and translate them into design specifications with consideration to the existing solutions
• Manage and coordinate projects / work packages in “Financial Accounting” through various phases - from gathering and analyzing business requirements to go-live and post-implementation support
• Take over responsibilities for ongoing SAP FI enhancements and maintenance based on specifications
• Work within our Global SAP environment together with international teams and projects
• Manage the assessment of change requests (corrections, enhancements), proposing implementation solutions by SAP FI / SAP CO / SAP CO-PA 
• Contribute to 3rd-level support of SAP FI / SAP CO / SAP CO-PA system (Incident Management, Problem Management, troubleshooting, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with the Goodyear IT processes
• Suggest improvements to current operational procedures within the SAP FI environment and recommend IT tools and techniques
• Participate in regular meetings to exchange ideas, recommendations, project obstacles, and solutions
• Support and advise other team members

Your profile:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field of studies
• Minimum 5 years of experience involving SAP Financial Accounting (FI) – SAP Controlling (CO) – SAP Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Deep understanding of SAP FI technologies, patterns, and practices specific to SAP FI / SAP CO / SAP CO-PA
• Ability to work in the SAP ABAP environment (code debugging, user exits, enhancements)
• Completion of a minimum of 2 full project lifecycle implementations and rollouts
• International project experience and collaborating with off-shore teams
• Very good analytical skills and business process understanding is required
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills, reliable, stress-resistant with readiness for action
• Very good command of English spoken and written
