Role & Responsibilities:

-    Act as a local AP Expert for Poland
-    Monitor the documents due dates and drive posting of all invoices on time to pay in line with Payment Terms. 
-    Provide AP process expertise and VIM technical support to GY associates, whenever is required 
-    Act as point of escalation for APGO Query team, for complex queries related to Romania, internal and external.
-    Vendor reconciliations and annual balance confirmation
-    Update and maintain approval path in SAM and VEL
-    Follow up on closing AP debit balances
-    Active participation in AP operational calls
-    Payment proposal editing/clear all vendors for automatic payment run (including FOS and T&E payments, creating UGPMT requests)
-    Identifies areas of potential process improvement, develops and enforces appropriate policies, procedures and internal controls. 
-    Ensures relevant business process controls and processes are documented and tested in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and that no un-remediated control gaps exist. 
-    Propose additional operational controls to address potential risks
-    Supports KPIs delivery and constantly works on improvement
-    Follow and maintain up to date Standard Operating Procedures and other process documents. Raise a need for any changes to the attention of the Accounting manager/Chief Accountant

Experience:

- Good AP knowledge is mandatory, P2P experience is a plus; 
- SAP proven experience - advance level; 
- Good communication skills; 
- Proactive, details and results oriented; 
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written); 
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines; 
- Interpersonal and relationship building in an intercultural environment; 
- Demonstrate accuracy and strong attention to detail; 
- Strong communications skills, both oral and written, required to resolve issues and enforce policy where required; must be comfortable in interacting with others.
