HR Business Partner (HRBP)
Location: Bucharest

 

Reports to: Head of HR Romania

 

Position Overview:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) works closely with business leaders to execute the company’s people strategy. This role focuses on driving initiatives in leadership development, organizational design, talent management, inclusive culture, and associate engagement - ensuring alignment with the company's business goals and strategic direction.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a strategic advisor and change agent to business leaders, championing initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
  • Human Capital Execution: Implement programs and processes related to:
    • Leadership development
    • Organization structure and design
    • Talent acquisition and development
    • Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)
    • Associate engagement and culture initiatives
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and the Shared Services Center (SSC) to deliver integrated HR solutions that meet business and employee needs throughout the associate lifecycle.
  • Talent Management: Support the implementation of talent strategies including workforce planning, succession planning, performance management, and career development.
  • Employee & Labor Relations: Manage employee relations matters with the support of Labor Relations (LR), Legal, and/or Country Governance HR as required.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Monitor, analyze, and report on key HR metrics and trends to inform decisions and track the impact of HR initiatives.
  • Coaching & Development: Provide guidance and coaching to employees and leaders, addressing complex or sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion.
  • Ensure Compliance and Policy Adherence: Oversee the consistent application of company policies, procedures, and labor laws. Support leaders and employees in understanding and adhering to compliance requirements. Manage employee relations matters by providing guidance, conducting investigations, and working with Legal or country HR governance when necessary.
  • Maintain and Update HR Policies: Contribute to the review, development, and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and internal regulations to ensure they remain compliant with legal requirements, aligned with best practices, and relevant to evolving business needs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Management, Psychology, or a related field
  • 3+ years’ experience as HRBP or HR Generalist role
  • Good labor law knowledge is a plus
  • Demonstrated success in:
    • Driving measurable improvements in staffing, talent development, and compensation strategies
    • Coaching and advising leaders through complex challenges
    • Analyzing HR data to influence strategic decisions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
