ROLE DESCRIPTION:
• Build EMEA list price for Summer, All Season, EU Winter and Nordic Winter via detailed SMART pricing (competitiveness driven) and aligned with brand positioning. Target is to find an optimal level of price to deliver volume according to plan, while maximizing the value of our brands and securing SOM targets.
• Build Estimated Competitive Benchmarks for all our brands tiers in a legal compliant way. Perform competitive price analysis for Sell-In prices of all our Brand tiers and flag risks and opportunities using elasticity calculations.
• Pricing representative in the Product Creation Process. Define and apply internal price setting rules on new products and perform market studies to ensure competitive pricing as well as ensuring realistic price input into our Business Cases. Analyze Material Master Data to identify new products and changes to existing line-up. Perform regular post-mortem analysis on price setting rules and adjust assumptions accordingly.
• Build EU Recommended Selling Price (RSP) aligned with brand positioning and drive initiative to automate RSP-exercise. Coordinate implementation of RSP of new products via equities / agents.
• Support in the preparation of the Pricing Objection Handling Deck for every list price and RSP-update.
• Support Grey Market Fight initiatives. This consist amongst other to drive bead bar code scanning with sales, align with legal / countries on illegal imports, align with markets in- and outside EMEA on price levels / volume caps, support product differentiation options between channels/regions, FX-monitoring (Turkish Lira).
• Support Blue Market Optimization. This consist amongst other to align on pricing corridors with pricing channel managers, implementation of control processes (complete wheel, BAYS,..).
• Set guidelines for NPI prices by balancing working capital optimization and blue/grey market risks. This for special deals and NPI-auctions.
• Support strategic projects to increase the quality of our market analysis and price setting decisions.
KEY CAPABILITIES REQUIRED:
• At least 5 years of working experience in an analytical role.
• Highly analytical and numerate with excellent attention to details.
• Excel skills (knowing your formulas and understanding how to structure models or complex reports in Excel).
• Good communication skills – both written and oral.
• Being able to take initiative and ownership of complete processes / topics.
• Adaptive mindset to successfully integrate in the dynamic environment of the department and it‘s rapidly shifting priorities.
• Fluency in English.
