Key Responsibilities:
A person in this position will be leading quality efforts and reporting test results for strategic IT projects and initiatives to ensure that new and updated systems and interfaces perform as specified. The responsibilities will include collaborating with the stakeholders to build a testing strategy/test plan, identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements through test automation, managing test execution and defect resolution, to support the rapid and reliable delivery of high-quality software to production. This person will collaborate with project teams to ensure all changes have been adequately tested to minimize disruption of service in the production environment.
In addition to that, you could oversee test case/script development, test case automation, and test execution, as well as validate testing results against the acceptance criteria.
The Test Lead will be expected to identify process improvement opportunities, contribute to the development of global testing standards and best practices, advocate and provide guidance on quality and testing standards, mentor other teams on any aspect of quality assurance, test planning, and execution, as well as define and track quality assurance metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or Information Systems
- 10+ years of relevant IT experience
- 3+ years of experience in a QA/Test Lead role for complex IT projects
- Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies
- Experience with business process development, test management tools, and automation frameworks
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders and promote quality standards across teams
- Knowledge of SAP Systems such as Order to Cash, Source to Pay, EWM, etc. is a plus
