Primary Purpose of the position:

  • Lead the definition, development and delivery of sales strategies for the defined sales region in order to deliver sustained revenue and profit growth in support of overall company goals and strategies.
  • Develop and lead the sales team for the defined sales region in expanding distribution network by recruiting and assisting retailers in identifying and capturing market opportunities through enhanced consumer experience, recruiting and helping distributors to build capabilities to serve company’s retail network effectively, and coordinating and executing pricing, marketing and after-sales strategies in the field to create and capture market demand.



  • Build an effective sales strategy for the defined region by taking the overall company sales and margin targets and developing the required network and coverage model to support distributor sell-through. This includes retail footprint planning, retail pipeline development, retail visit planning, execution of retail merchandising and assortment, and execution of promotion programs to improve the health of retail network.
  • Develop an effective distributor strategy and distributor network that is able to expand and serve Goodyear's retail network with the right tire, to the right place, at the right time, for the right cost.  This involves partnering with each distributor to define the market demand and communicate the region's demand forecast back to HQ, develop joint business plans with each distributor to create and capture market demand, define required distributor organization and logistics capabilities to serve retail network, monitor and improve distributor cash flow to minimize credit risk, and co-develop distributor policies which improve distributor profitability.
  • Build high-performing company and distributor sales teams through active recruitment, constant coaching and training, and effective deployment of these resources to be able to serve and grow retail network.  Define and monitor the daily activities of both sales teams to enable effective sales visits, new product/SKU pipelining, merchandising and assortment execution, inventory management, retail store recruitment, and competitive monitoring.
  • Establish and monitor annual, quarterly, and monthly sales targets within the defined sales region and lead the sales team in the planning and delivery of sales and margin targets in support of the overall company sales and margin targets.  Coordinate with HQ on national programs while working with local distributors and retailers on local programs that create market demand and sustain business growth.
  • Liase with multifunctional team and provide input on product requirements, marketing activities, price positioning, and after-sales programs based on local market demands. Execute product sell-in, marketing, price/promotion and after-sales programs which drive consumer traffic to stores and improves GASN satisfactio



  • Associate degree is required, bachelor degree is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of progressive sales experience in tire industry, totally 7-10 years of working experience.
  • At least 3 years of people management skill.
  • Business and market development skills.
  • Business and financial management skills.
  • Strong people management.
  • Computer literate, English proficiency is preferred.
