IT Specialist Finance (all genders welcome)

 

As IT Specialist Finance (all genders welcome) you will operate as a liaison between Information Technology and departmental business/technical process customers. More specifically, you are responsible for the overall finance controls for the EMEA IT country organization. Therefore, you will analyze EMEA IT costs and provide detailed data analysis to support management decisions, planning and reporting. Within this mixed-role you will also provide system-wide support and maintenance for a complex business process.

 

Your tasks & responsibilities:

  • Establish and support the creation of AOP planning with the EMEA IT Leadership as well as maintain and enhance the IT financial dashboard
  • Control EMEA IT SAG cost according to AOP, providing detail analysis of costs & projects and ensure timely EMEA IT financial reporting as well as appropriate charge-out to CAPEX by following corporate policies and accounting standards
  • Keep a permanent connection with financial organization to ensure accurate IT financial reporting
  • Respond to problems by conferring with the stakeholder community and making joint decisions on how error correction should occur and draw solutions from others and recommend courses of action
  • Expand use of current technologies and interrelated business/technical process areas, as they apply to Goodyear and increase breadth and depth of knowledge in these areas by attending training classes, reading courseware and interacting with others more expert in said area
  • Write and maintain all documentation supporting primary area of responsibility, this may serve as input for management presentations or as training material for stakeholder community

 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s / Professional Degree in related discipline, or equivalent business process work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, General Ledger and Purchasing function
  • Specific understanding of the business/technical process area or IT support knowledge for the financial business/technical process area
  • Be able to develop an understanding of basic cost/benefit analysis methods
  • Be capable of working under broad supervision and interacting with stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Possess creativity and a good listening ear to translate business/technical process into actual practice
  • Possess basic organizational, communication and time management skills with an excellent track record of completing assignments in a timely and accurate manner
  • Be able to participate as an active team member and practice effective collaboration skills
  • Specific knowledge of the current Office product suite
  • English is a must
  • Willingness to travel as some travel will be required #LI-SW2
