About the Position

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company is hiring Commercial Sales Specialists to join our Commercial Truck team.  Commercial Sales Specialists will work with Goodyear Dealers to drive Commercial Truck sales activity, as part of our overall goal to deliver sustainable revenue and profitable growth while increasing the value of our brand.

These talented sales associates will focus on improving product mix and share of account by providing training and support to our dealers on Goodyear’s Total Solution.

They will play a critical role in planning and executing the target account process as part of the organization’s goals to gain new wheel positions for Goodyear commercial products.

Commercial Sales Specialists will partner with Commercial Account Managers to develop joint business plans with our aligned dealers and wholesale distributors.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Increase sales throughput at G3X locations by training and communication of Goodyear Total Solution.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of business plan initiatives, target account reviews, operation concentrations, open houses, etc.
  • Assist the Wholesale Distributor in prospecting and signing new G3X customers.
  • Conduct joint fleet calls with G3X dealers to gain wheel positions for Goodyear products and drive Wholesale Distributor throughput.


Required Education and Experience

  • At least 18+ months of sales experience with a Bachelor degree; or in lieu of degree, at least 6+ years sales experience will be considered.
  • Facilitating different types of training and communicating effectively.
  • Commercial products and solutions preferred.


Skills and Abilities

  • Must be a self-starter since job is home based.
  • Must have strong planning & organizational skills.
  • Basic computer & training skills.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills.
