Franchise and Licensing Territory Business Manager

About the role

 

Reporting to the Franchise & Licensing Business Manager and Franchising this role will see you lead, coach and support franchisees and licensees in best practice retailing and workshop management.

 

You will develop strong working relationships and work closely with our franchisees and licensees to support and sustain improved business performance across many disciplines.

 

In the role of Franchise & Licensing Territory Business Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Support the growth and profitability of our Franchising and (DSD) Licensing program
  • Recruitment and retention of high performing franchisees/licensees
  • Partner with franchisees and licensees to drive and maintain store performance and standards including;
  • Retail operational standards
  • Induction and onboarding programs for new franchisees and / licensees (including change of ownership)
  • Coaching franchisees and licensees in best practice retailing and workshop management
  • Developing remedial action plans to address under-performance or improvement opportunities
  • Partner with franchisees and licensees, building business plans for the growth and success of their business
  • Ensure Franchising and Licensing legal requirements and compliance

 

 

About you

 

To be successful in this role you will have:

 

  • Experience in a comparable level role such as Territory Manager/ Successful business owner/ Account Manager
  • A proven track record of success in a leadership position, ideally gained from a Retail or a commercial consumer environment
  • Tyre industry knowledge / automotive industry knowledge preferred
  • Experience working within the franchise industry preferred  
  • Strong financial acumen, experience with P&L's and budgets
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Resilient and able to navigate a complex environment
